Paver Patio Prep Work:
- Review and mark out the location of the patio
- Start the base work. This is the most important step for ensuring a quality patio. We put at least 6-8 inches of crushed gravel to provide a solid foundation
- Make sure the area is leveled and slopes away from the house (when necessary)
- Lay about 1/2 inch of sand for the cushion
- Lay pavers one by one with the material and pattern requested
- Lay all pavers to complete the patio
- Add polymeric sand, which acts as a "sealant" to preserve the overall look and ensure your patio lasts over time
